Night Life at the California Academy of Sciences makes science cool. Every Thursday night, the museum opens its doors to the 21+ crowd for an interactive evening of science, cocktails and all that the museum has to offer. The planetarium is open for experiencing 3-D wonders (go early if you can!), and each night has a theme. For example, the November 21st theme was “Bitelife” which will explored the science of eating—from table to intestine.
With a focus on local, sustainable food from restaurants such as Earl’s Organic Produce and Whole Foods, the website touts the evening as a “Thanksgiving feast into gastronomic glory with food demos courtesy of 4505 Meats.”
